The Vietnamese National Art Exhibition 2001-2005 is an important art event for the Vietnamese artists. which is organized by the Ministry of Culture and Information. This exhibition gathers all excellent pieces of the Vietnamese artists during the first five years of the Twenty First Century. Among 2979 paintings, drawings, statues , the exhibition displays 737 typical pieces ( 540 paintings and drawings, 197 statues ), from 648 artists from 50 provinces, cities. Especially, there are 8 artists who are over 80 while the youngest is only 18. There are 99 female artist and 16 minority ethic composers. |
