HCMC chairman Le Hoang Quan (L) introduces the 110-year history of
the City Hall building to Japanese Hyogo Prefecture governor Toshizo
Ido (R) after their meeting yesterday. Through the arrangement of
Nguyen Tri Dung (C), a Vietnamese Japanese who is president of Minh
Tran Co., Ido and his Hyogo Prefecture’s 40-member delegation arrived
in the city yesterday for a five-day business visit to Vietnam. This
afternoon 25 Hyogo Prefecture-based enterprises, including Kawasaki
Heavy Industries, Kobe Steel, Toyo Industries and Shinsei Corporation,
will meet 60 to 70 local potential partners at a meeting at Minh Tran
Co., 3/39 Phan Huy Ich Street in HCMC’s Tan Binh District.
